Eh Kenny! So glad you were able to find us. So good of the SCSKS folks to drive so far from SD county and everyone bringing such ono kaukau. The singing was so nice, and then jumped up a notch when Uncle Henry and Liz Kamae got here. It's great that Dick and Linda are learning so many Hawaiian songs to sing and share with us. Keneke also knows so many songs from his performances and teaching, and enriches the sound with his bass. Dan Urrere has taken up the ukulele since his wife and daughter are enjoying their hula dancing so much. Fran is in Auntie Iolana's halau now, and Dan's kumu is Uncle Chuck Ka'imikaua. And we've found how to keep Doug here - - box him in on the sofa.... I'm wondering if we're going to have a banjo or two show up, what with Rik's interest and Scott's expertise... We'll be seeing everyone on Jan 18th at the Slack Key Festival in Redondo Beach - - anyone want to come early or stay late to jam - - let me know. Aloha!!! auntie nancy
