I'll Remember You by Kui Lee
A friend of mine asked me if I could find him the chords for this song. A google search came up empty. Can anyone here help?

Hi Mark, Just wanted to mention that this song was written late in Kui's life. He and Buddy Fo were friends for many years, and Buddy told me that Kui was dying of cancer when he wrote that song - as a gift to his wife. If you perform this song, let people know the story behind it, and it will take on a whole new level of meaning. Buddy Fo lives here on the Big Island, and I am fortunate to play bass with him occasionally. He has many great stories about Kui Lee and their time together.

Last June, I had the opportunity to hear Kui Lee's sister, Leilani Lee Gilfoy (KSG-'48) sing that song as well as Lahainaluna at the kanikapila during Reunion Week. What started out as being sung by the group, quietly but suddenly turned into a solo. Truly a chicken skin moment.
Hey Bob, ask da Maui Bud to relate some Kitadas experiences with da Makawao Pochos...da PoiDog was sitting in the back corner with the rest of da cowboys. Including his nephew Makanaikaika...

Hi Norm,
I play this song on ukulele and have some sweet chords to it. Send me your personal email address and I'll try to email it to you as an attachment.
Aloha, Julie
