Anuhea Jenkin's guitar was stolen today.
Guitars are both in black hard cases, with no real markings on them. One is her aunty's guitar, a family heirloom that she says is worth a lot of money. Her aunty is Nalani Choy of the group Na Leo. The other was a Pono custom koa wood guitar.

The lesson here is not to go paddleboarding for 3 hours with your guitars in the truck. I know, I hate to leave any instrument in any vehicle. Two years ago I left my beautiful Po Mahina in the car while I went into Costco and whatever other stores, to find out later at camp that the bridge was coming away from the body, the heat had affected the glue.

Thanks goodness Dennis Lake fixed my baby. Lesson learned!
