i started this class tuesday. there are 5 students including myself ,i believe there were others signed up but didnt show.
3 of the students are return students, have been with the class for the past 3-4 quarters, another is new to slack key.
sheryl seems to be the true embodiment of aloha. started off with a hawaiian language/spiritual discussion, and eventually broke out the guitars.using the beamer/nelson,hanson,kotani books for text.i think its going to be fun. by the way javeiro, its at the federal way campus (s 348 st.hy 18 exit off i-5), no need to go all the way to s 240 st to highline comm college, i know its still a long way from oly tho. lee

Oh that class sounds perfect except for the geography. LOL, that's true of the great music camps on the islands as well.

Thanks for thinking of me kihoalukid, but like you said, it's still a long drive from Olympia. By the way, did you know that in Hawaii there was a professional performer that used the name "Kihoalu Kid"? Or maybe you're him?

Mahalo for the report on the class.

Aloha,

Aloha,
John A.

No need to change your handle, Kihoalukid, just stick with that class, keep practicing and maybe we'll be watching YOU on stage one of these days! Keep us posted on your progress.

Aloha,

Aloha,
John A.
