Should have posted thes pics earlier. This first batch was last June 7 at our Waihee kanikajamapila with Reid & Sarah. Later on, Uncle Sol joined us to make the day complete.

Mahalo Ed for sharing! You got some nice shots. Great shot Welcoming Sarah & Reid with the garden background. I got a kick out of IMG_1026ps.jpg where I can just see Pono peeking out from under your empty chair between Helen and myself Aloha, >^..^< |

Ehhhhh, good pictures Ed. You can be a photo jounalist if you are not one already. Waihee looks like a very beautiful and tranquil area. This place I gotta experience. A bigger tent may be needed soon though. Thanks again for sharing. Alohas... |

Yeah, thanks for the photos. We're headed off for Maui in a couple hours so I'll be offline for a week or so.
We're also going to try going to the Blue Marlin tonight. Eric, when do you fly to Maui? |

To whom it may concern (I use to start all my "get out of class to go surfing" notes back when I was in high school in this way), anyway, to whom it may concern, I will arrive on the beautiful island of Maui early Thursday morning. See you all there! |

The Taropatch.net gang took over the Blue Marlin Bar last night!!!!! (Except me, my excuse is that I was taking the pictures but, honestly, I chickened out!)

More coming up - the Slack Key Festival will have a few of our members on stage this coming Sunday. I will be right in front of the stage to take pictures. Some exciting surprises. |

Aloha Ed, Does this mean you won't be opening on stage with all of us on Sunday? I'm down here in Kihei at Dan Sythes place as I type, looking out over Molokini and whitecaps rolling by, mmmm. Time for swim!
See you at Napili? We head up there Thursday.

Aloha Ed,
Great photos. Looked like everyone had a great time. What was the fellow doubling as soundman(?) playing? Looks like a wired-up Backpacker guitar. I think it has 6-strings, but there are other boxes out there with that shape.
Thanks, |

Ross I didn't know you were coming to the Workshop. I will see you on Sunday after your group performance. I also told Andy that we should get all our Taropatch ohana for a group picture.
Pauline, yes that was a Taylor backpacker with a pick-up that Don Kaulia was playing.
Stacey, I can't remember what they sung. They had at least 3 each and they were all goooood!
As for Andy's footwear, well, no comment. Otherwise he would have passed as local. |

Enh!!!!!!!! Wrong Ed....That's a Martin Back-Packer! Wow! I really missed-out on a great time at Blue Marlins! Looking at the photos, makes me wish I was there! :O(
But I had a Class Reunion Meeting up in Pukalani. By the time the meeting was over, would've been too late to try make it down to the Blue Marlin.
I would've gone lastnite, but, my truck is in the shop being repaired, so, scratch that idea! Hopefully, it'll be done today...So I can go to Blue Marlins tonite.
Sarah! Reid! Andy! Lynette! Kawika! Popoki! And "Bruddah" Kevin! "Digital Ed"! (Did I miss anyone?) Looking at all the pictures.....can tell all of you had a great time down there at the Blue Marlins!
Hey Ed....I knew Sarah was gonna steal the show! "You Go Girl!" GO SARAH! GO SARAH! GO SARAH! Andy and Kawika! Looks like the two of you had the audience going as well! See all of you soon! A Hui Hou!

GOOD JOB ED,
To all the TaroPatch Ohana!, this guy ED can play, you can see why he wasn't playing this year, I will bring him up with me on stage at the Blue Marlins the next time he visits.
Thanks ED for photographing all of the Ohana here on this website. I had the pleasure of meeting most of you at the Blue Marlins and at the Festival.
These photographs taken by ED is really important, especially for me as an artist. It is so great to have memories alive and to rekindle when I log on to www.taropatch.net ...Thanks ED, Thanks Andy.
I will make sure to have my constituents like Brother Noland and Mike Kaawa to get involve with our Ohana.
I am so honored to be a TaroPatch Ohana.
Aloha, Until we meet again!

"Bruddah" Don! You guys wuz awesome! Maybe some day I'll be good enough to be a part of one 'suparific event like "The Kiho'alu Festival". But in the mean time...I got alot to work-on to prepare myself! Plus too, Sarah's debut is one tough act to follow! Ha! ha! ha! Fo real!
By featuring her during the "Blue Marlins" open-mike with you and "Bruddah" Pani, it has brought out that Glow of Talent that she has within! To be able to see her perform before a MAGNITUDE CROWD as the SECRET GUEST ARTIST with "Bruddah" Kevin, Ikaika and Joe at the M.A.C.C. making her sound that much more sweet.
That is something will not all soon forget.....Mahalo my "Bruddah" Mahalo for making us all sound good when we kanikajam with you guys, and with "Bruddah" Kevin....A Hui Hou! Malama Pono....
