I just attended the Puget Sound Strummers monthly meeting, last Wednesday evening of every month, for the first time. It's ukulele only; they play a variety of songs in a song circle format. Good idea - have enough copies of the song to go around if you want to sing something that isn't in their song book. Membership is by showing up at the door with ukulele in hand. About 10 people were there tonight, all ages. We covered all kinds of music, easy and difficult, mainland and hapa haole.
