It's this weekend, at the Marriott Courtside in Kapa'a. I'll be there. along with several steelers, led by Alan Akaka, of course. The festival is Friday and Saturday. Keola Beeamer's camp is there, starting on Sunday. Come and enjoy!!

You folks missed a great event! What is very cool about this festival is that it happens the weekend before Keola Beamer's camp, so I saw a lot of old friends.

Iʻll back up what Jack said -- a nice grouping. I sat in with the fiddle in the kanikapilas, and got a nice jump start to learning steel.
Put da "pila" back in "Kanikapila"
