WOW! Jeff Linsky?! He's the father in law of a coworker of mine. Jeff and his wife are amazing musicians. It's way bad that I won't be able to attend due to other performing commitments. Jeff's family just celebrated his birthday at the Carlsbad Hyatt (4 Seasons) last weekend. Jeff's an unbelievable performing artist. Ric |

Wow, what a show!! Mitch has outdone himself once again for this, the 5th annual Southern California Slack Key Festival. Jeff Peterson, if you read this, we really missed you because we love you. He, Mitch, is very innovative in the way he puts the show together, and his tribute to Uncle Bill Tapia brought tears to more eyes than his. Mahalo nui, Mitch, and please keep doing it! n |

E Andy! Plan to come sometime again! There's always a place for you to stay. His show just gets better and better as he brings talent in from other venues, local talent, and talent who has not spent time in our area. This year, there was a nice background of lovely Hawaiian video which added a nice touch. Though it seems like a minor thing, to me it's huge; the sound is so well managed that my hearing remains intact. Jeff was using a pick too big for his guitar in his backyard and severely injured his back. My comment was that he was too young; guys hurt their backs when they are 40. Turns out he just made 40 a couple months ago. Who knew? |

Mahalo to Mitch for putting on this wonderful 5th Annual S CA Slack Key Festival. We had a great time and the show was really good. Missed Jeff Peterson and hope he is recovering well. the Pahinui Hawaiian Band album was pre-released and we had a great response for that also. Mahalo to everyone who supported us by picking up a CD. |
