This masterpiece that I have on Mike & Led's live CD just refuses to leave my head. I'm getting the guitar part (GREATLY simplified!) worked out, but don't have a clue on the lyrics. Anyone know where I might find them, and/or an English translation? It's a great song, and I had the incredible privilege of seeing Mike & Led perform it at the Kona Brewing Co. several years ago. I know the translation of the title, but nothing else.

I was there at the Triple Door the night this show was recorded. The sound in this venue is crystal clear and the recording captures just how good this show was and how much fun those guys were having on stage that night. Good luck on your search and working out the arrangement. |

You can find the Hawaiian lyrics to the song on Mike's CD "Hwn Groove". |

Just a bit of added info about the mele -- it was composed by Mike and his (now) wife, Malissa.
Will play the version from "Force of Nature" on my show Thursday, with mahalo to TPers for discussing it! |

Mele.com says it's no longer available, but this website still lists it for sale. http://www.hawaiianmusicstore.com/cds/cd293.html |

Played it on my show today -- hope you got to hear it, Froppe!
As for purchasing, mele.com still carries it -- it's marked as "Notify Me" which means it's just temporarily out of stock. |

Yes, I heard it on your show, Auntie Maria! Thank you for playing it, and the plug for the Taropatch was great, as well. When I get on mele.com, it still shows up as no longer available. I guess I'll try the Hawaiian Music Store. Thank you, markwitz! |
