Yep, I know its Sunday. We won't be near a computer for the next couple of days so I thought I would put the new week's playlist up a little early. There are some goodies in there, including another of Jesse Tinsley's original mele. Enjoy!!!

Anybody else a big big Herb Jr. fan? His style is completely at the service of the music, he caresses each note to ripeness, and he's incredibly funny between songs. I've seen him with Keoki Kahumoku where he took the "quiet man" role and used mostly body language to keep the jokes bouncing, and I've seen him with David Kamakahi where Herb as the joke cracker and David the quiet side, and Herb was great in both roles.
This video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSKqBf8ZrDo isn't the best quality audio-wise, but it's great to see Herb Jr. in such a nice closeup.

Oh, this is bad, I tell you. I've played alongside this gentleman at Nico's unless I'm even more fuzzy brained than I thought, which could certainly be the case.
And of course Gabriel is making beautiful music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6IJm6LYlPs
Thanks, Wanda.
