Please join me in sending birthday wishes to one of the hardest working musicians in Hawai`i, to a man of great talent and great aloha. To a man who epitomizes Hawaiian to me, to Sonny Lim. May you always be blessed, Sonny.

Here is a playlist I put together as a tribute to Sonny.

Happy Birthday Sonny. Ric

It's easier to ask for forgiveness, than permission!

If Sonny reads this, I'd like to wish him Happy Birthday! He taught me how to play 'Punahele' at my first Aloha Music Camp on Molokai, for which I'll always be grateful!

E Sonny! Biggest Aloha & hauʻoli la hānau! Miss cooking breakfast with you in Pahala.
I just did Akaʻs master cleanse again (dropped 25 #s), and the only hard part of the fast was going to the East Maui Kalo Fest and smelling the squid luʻau. You absolutely carved a niche in my heart for dat buggah! Sayonara!
