Am wondering if a forum memeber may happen to know the tuning for Ozzie Kotanis song as seen in the title.
My daughter is getting married in July and has just asked me to play this song among others that I already can play. I've been trying to get this figured out over the last couple three hours and am struggling to figure it out.
After realizing that I had the guitar half tuned to taro patch and the other half at d wahine as I had tuned only 3 of the 6 strings from the previous day and had forgotten that I did that. Got interrupted with a phone call and then honey do with guests coming for supper on Dads day
Sometimes life goes by too fast and I am findign out that some days leave me what seems like tone deaf!
I did find something though that can help people decipher recordings and put music to tab.
There is a free version of this software that you can use that aids in showing where the bulk of the music sound is located to the keyboard, plus you can slow the tracks/play down to be able to pluck the strings to get the correct note to tab:
there is a free version for download, but the downside of this is that each time you use the software you have to upload from your DVD the tracks. The software converts the file so the program can play the song and you can see on a music roll style screen just above a keyboard where the majority of notes are being played.
Now I am trying to figure out how to convert files to MP3 with the use of I songs, as when one does that there are programs to will convert the file to midi and software such as Guitar pro will convert the midi file to tab.
I've struggled for a long time with picking up from music played to try to get the music to tab, but with these programs this can make the work a lot easier and I think in a lot of cases eliminate th ehours needed to write tab from played music.
Problem now is once a file is converted to 12 key, the program for some reason will not allow the file to be converted to MP3 and I am not certain at this time if that is because the free version has limited amount of features. AT least with the teaser version, one can gain in the use of time.
