To me it sounds like, “I lay by the waterside, Sunday school, yes in the days of five.” However, the liner notes say, “I live by the water side, sun is good, and the days are fine.” What you think?

Doug I sang it for ages just the way you heard it. Only when I found the lyrics online did I go "Hah, fo' real?"

When I think about it, I'm not sure Peter Moon capoed up to A Taropatch on that deleted video. On second thought I think he did that on the recording & no ask me why because it was an instrumental too. Another one of those "Hah fo' real?" moments.

So what gang should we go for a "Supplemental Top 10" slack key pieces? I got choke I left out.

No can do, brah. I've been listening only a couple months now, and most of the time when I'm listening, I'm multi-tasking, not watching the computer screen, so I don't know the name of the song. I love it all!

Capoing for instrumentals is more common than one might think. It shortens the scale and lowers the action at the nut, it's like having a 0 fret on a shorter neck. This makes the playing technical stuff easier, and that was a pretty high tech bit of playing.

I like so much of it but I have only 3 faves. They are 1) Pohakuloa by Moses Kahumoku, 2) Punahele by Ray Kane, and 3) Moe 'Uhane by Sonny Chillingworth.

A hui hou.
