Just saw this on Facebook...

Keep an eye out for this sweet 'ukulele. It is a baritone. Any music store owner in the Napa area should be alerted.

Bummer news. So sorry to hear the news, Cathe. I hope that your instrument comes home soon. Let's all keep an eye out.

Oh man. I've not logged onto the TP in a few weeks and there is just more and more sad news.

Auntie Cathe! I am so sorry. I remember you letting me play that baritone with Jill on the bench at Prospect Ave. overlooking Capitola some years ago.

It's just awful. I've unfortunately no illusions about it being recovered, but will add this, and I mean it with much Aloha.

"It was my life and soul. It was there when I rose to the clouds with the sound we created, and it was there when I was slipping beneath the waves of despair. A friend. Something that defined me, now gone. My greatest hope is that an innocent heart recognizes the beauty of my instrument and makes Angels sing when they come upon it. I will always hear your resonant sound in my dreams"

I am so very sorry.

Love and Aloha to you and TaroPatch,
Mike & Jill
