I left in 2010 for Iraq. I tried to come back once, but I was not quite ready.
It's nice to be back home, caught a few You Tubes and enjoyed the talk. Some of you guys are real music students. I just want to play and enjoy the music.
My repertoire has grown considerably in 3 years of off and on play. I'm still self taught (influenced by Ozzie, Bradda Pete Medeiros, Keola and Fran Guidry... didn't know that, did you Fran. Your version of Salomila was simple beauty and Zen-like.
It's nice to see that most of you are still around, us old futs need support. Aloha and mahalo nui.

We may be old futs, but we shaka kine old fut, yeah? I still make the occasional mistakes in my playing, but the nahe nahe is where it's at anyway, right?
