Finally, he is back in the area again (Led). I can easily go to this show in Chicago. Going to buy tickets tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed the PHX concert. Did they do workshops there too?

George said "21 cities in 21 days" on Sat night. I'd thought they were playing in Tucson but glad to hear it's PHX. We have a place N of Prescott too & if they return to PHX sometime it might be easier than driving to ABQ house for quick musical weekend.

Gotta say it was well worth the trip tho' for workshops & concert. I learned Bb tuning fr Led. He was his usual jocular & warm self showing us stuff.

I never played slack key ukulele before but it made sense immediately. The same "grips" or fingering-shapes one uses on guitar translate well. George also showed us a wahine uke tuning. C dropped to B makes good sense too, especially if playing/noodling by oneself.

Did enjoy the Phoenix show. No workshops. Wish it had been in Tucson. That's where I'm at. Keoki came thru Tucson last summer and it was the worst turn out for a Hawaiian music concert here that I've attended. I'm certain the word got around and we're probably black listed by the promoters.

No disrespect meant to Tucson, ukrazy. Good town.
I thought it surprising Led & Keoki had so many shows in SW. When I lived in LA Led didn't even have dates sched'd there 1/2 of the time or so seemed. Almost always seems to have dates in SF/Sta Cruz & Pac NW tho' - hope we can increase the "demand" to see 'em both in SW again!
