New York is preparing for the arrival of the Hōkūle'a in July 2016. There are a slew of very cool events this weekend. Claudia Goddard and I will be playing music at the reception on Saturday night.

Worldwide Voyage Educator Institute

1:00 – 5:00 pm: Half-day professional development workshop for teachers in the NY area to find ways to work together with Hawaii counterparts toward a sustainable future, using lessons learned from the Worldwide Voyage.
