We read a lot about your favorite Slack Key song(s), guitar(s), performer(s), etc...
Without any disrespect to anyone, wonder what your least favorite Slack Key song is? Now there's a thought.

Is anyone else here willing to admit that they've heard Aloha Oe maybe too many times?

The worst day strumming is better than the best day working.

Knowing the story of its creation makes it easier to play. It seems that Queen Lilo attended a picnic at Maunawili Ranch (between the Pali and Olomana hill on the Windward Side). Two young people, one from each side of the Pali, were in love. When it came time to leave, they both were upset at having to part. Lilo was inspired to write a poem about their sadness at parting, which became ALoha O'e.

However, Aloha Oe is NOT a Slack Key song per-se.
Liliu wrote it on and for a piano first (her main instrument).

It can be, and has been, played on Slack-Key guitar of course,
and so can Beethoven, Talking Heads, Daft Punk, or anything.

Steve Inglis recently released a disc of all Bob Dylan songs,
ALL played with Slack Key Guitar.

So can we list our least Favorite Bob Dylan song or Beethoven?

OR do you mean least favorite Hawaiian Music song or piece,
which would narrow the field a little?

In which case, I would list "Island Style", which John Cruz did
with a standard tuned guitar (it is not a Slack Key song).
And, like Aloha 'Oe, not because it is a bad song but because
it has been WAY overplayed (at least within the hearing range
of my own ears).

Not a Hawaiian song, but "Over the Rainbow". Recently, every player caves in to the group that only knows 1 IZ tune. Worse than Tiny Bubbles.

Not only is OTR overdone, Iz didn't even use the correct chord changes.
