Aloha! Since January this year I've been singing this way, annoying my parents LOL! If you don't know how to do it I can explain! Here's one of my covers so you can get the gist of what I mean. Tell me what you think! It's all me, by the way. https://soundcloud.com/sjwmusic/puamana Feel free to check out my other stuff! :)

Yes, very annoying. Your parents still allow you in the house? Yes, nice work. |
The worst day strumming is better than the best day working. |

For those of you who enjoyed that one, here's my latest. It's a little quiet, but I couldn't put any more volume than I already did because I tried and the audio went hot. https://soundcloud.com/sjwmusic/makee-ailana |

I dabble in leo ki'eki'e a little bit & use it in spots on certain songs. I never use it exclusively for a complete song though. I attempt "I Kona" in falsetto but also use my natural voice in spots.
You've done a fine job in such a short period of time, Sonja. Keep practicing & you leo ki'eki'e is going to get better & better. Try searching YouTube for videos of the Abrigo Ohana & look for those that Emily Abrigo sings the lead. She is 17 years old now & I've known the ohana since she was 11. I absolutely love her leo ki'eki'e & she has been singing that way since she was 11. She my favorite current falsetto singer.
BTW there's a member on Taropatch.net named Alex "Alika" Krause; who very visits the site anymore, who has a great in common with you. She is also sight impaired & plays the piano too. She also recorded & shared here, herself singing leo ki'eki'e.
I also seem to remember you mentioning you changed your Taropatch.net username. If you don't mind me asking, what was it before? Just curious in case we crossed paths before & I don't realize it.
Aloha

No I changed my signature. I had "Me ke aloha pumehana". Alex "Krauth". I know her! We're friends on Facebook! I also know of the Abrigo 'Ohana. I like them too. I'm still working on my leo ki'eki'e. It's not perfect, I know, but I just do it for fun. |

I noticed I said the wrong lyrics at the end of the "ha'ina" verse. It's supposed to be "mai uwē 'oe". Oh well, I did look at the translation for the mele, and "a huli ho'i mai" fits well too. |
