Well we got a huge Spring snowstorm this Saturday, and couldn't sanely attend the concert, so we donated our tickets. I'd bought early, and did not give them away lightly...
(But where is my inner road warrior that that drove in blizzards for 40 years to and from gigs in the mountains to play concerts?) No Mas... Not sure it was really me. So, Fireplace and cat naps won out Sat. night...
But we dug ouit and melted out on Sunday, so YES, I made the workshop at Swallow Hill Sunday, and that's the saving grace part of this.
I admire Makana for sharing a friendly, low-pressure, Zen-like hour and half workshop...and to Swallow Hill for hosting both the concert and workshop. He had to catch a flight to LAX later, but didn't act like there was any pressing schedule...what a nice workshop. Only 4 in attendance at workshop, and yet the artists do these amidst their crazy road tours. Able to sit and video with iPhone up close...and ask questions. A great birthday gift for myself and the others there. Most had made the concert, and gave rave reviews. So thanks for stopping in Denver,
A true sharing of Aloha. Mahalo Nui.
