Hi, all. WHAT is this? Is it on an album?

Bonus question: What is the black guitar Led is playing?

This sounds to me like two songs, transitioning about halfway through:

First, "Just Because", which I think of as a "country" classic, but may actually have Hapa Haole origins (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_Because_(Nelstone%27s_Hawaiians_song)). I don't know of Led recording commercially.

Second, "Sweet Georgia Brown", which I think is on "Force of Nature" with Mike Kaawa.

It's "12th Street Rag" and "Sweet Georgia Brown". Yes it's on his Force of Nature CD.

The black guitar is a Guild, one of the thin semi-acoustic electrics they built in the late 80s or early 90s. They did a few different models and I don't recall exactly which one Led uses.

It looks a lot like this S4CE - http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Guild/Songbird-S4CE-Acoustic-Electric-Guitar.gc

To me, it looks like the guitar he used on the Ki Ho'alu: That's Slack Key Guitar video created by Susan Friedman.

I saw him use that guitar in Seattle back in the early '90s.

Thanks, all, for the info. 'Force of Nature' is very interesting (checked it out yesterday). Kaawa pulls out a whole different side of Led's playing.

I was in the audience that night. Mike's backup playing is seamless and a solid platform for Led's fireworks.
