I was able to catch ( Streaming ) about 3/4ths of the Slack Key Festival held at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center yesterday. Was able to see sets from Led, Dwight Kanae, Bobby Modero, Kamuela Kahoano, Stephen Inglis, Danny and Nani Carvalho, Paul Togioka and Kimberly Hope ( loved her violin playing ) Chris Lau and Kawika Kahiapo. Looked like a beautiful day there. The MC commented that it was the 31st year being held there on Maui and 40 years overall.
It was a treat to see all their sets especially since I don't get any live Slack Key shows where I live. Anyone else catch it?
