Sorry I missed it. I was at a polka fest outside of Vancouver, WA, that had been transformed into a little bit of Nort' Dakota. Lots of great music, jamming, food and dancing for them that do. Sort of a German ho'olauleia. I did play a little ki ho'alu there for the curious.

Sorry I missed it too. I went to a canoe regatta in Silverdale at the waterfront park.. I ended up performing solo and got a warm welcome. I did not expect to play in that manner. I was told it was a jam. you know the kind, sit around and take turns sharing a song li' dat. Anyways was good fun and had some local style(Hawaiian style) grinds. So I not complaining.

Welcome back, Jean - we should talk about getting a handful of the kani folks on the radio show soon - let's talk about August 4, maybe? We won't be at the 14th kani, but maybe the 28th. Looking forward to lots of stories (including Japan trip stuff, Don - we are officially jealous.)

Welcome back. It sure is nice to know you got back all safe and sound. I may not make the 14th jam. I tentatively got to meet with a kumu hula to see if I fit in as an alternate musician for her halau. And if we don't meet on that day then I will be there.
