Foo, indeed! The skier is overjoyed, since I missed last year. It'll be ok down here by next week. I'll do my best to make it! Up here, at 600 feet, it's snowing big, beautiful flakes, and the roads are still bare. The Eclipse is safely parked in the driveway, ragtop all covered with snow, and I've been chugging around in my Astrovan. We had a great spam n' jam at da KK today. Remember - 2nd Saturday (which Thumbs & me will miss next month 'cause we'll be jammin' on Oahu!

WOW! Nice to know there's such an active, happy group in Seattle

New here and just getting started in slack key. Been playing with the ukulele a bit. Simple stuff but having fun. Would love to come and check out the group sometime.

Stay warm and safe eh?! Snow supposedly coming late tonight!

Live aloha,
Tad

Sorry, gang, I'm cancelling the kani for this coming Sat---too much "charming" weather. Let me know if you'd like to try for the following one.

If the weather is OK, I have a postponed commitment.
Snow for the mountains only (excluding the Issaquah Alps, Rich).

Well, we'll try for the 27th, but the weather-gods are still pretty grumpy. If it's still at all bad by then, consider it cancelled :-/ In which case, see ya on the 10th of Jan. Meanwhile, Mele Kalikimaka & Hau`oli Makahiki Hou!!

Kori, skis may be the only way I'll get off this mountain! We have over a foot of snow - so far!

My sister-in-law measured 11'' on the picnic table. As with you, Rich, we live on a hill. We made it to the store today, stocked up on essentials and goodies. COME ON RAIN!
Still, I've been playing a bunch of guitar and made up a new tune-- "Chang Apana Slack Key".

I've heard it, and it's brilliant. But I could tell Thumbs is getting cabin fever!

Take heart, Thumbs - the rain is coming (but it's snowing again this morning!)! Two weeks from today we'll be on Oahu! Mele to y'all in the Kane!
