Howzit Les,
I think you just missed the age cut off for the scholarship . I won't be able to attend the uke workshop but will probably be at the Napa Aloha Festival on Sat., Sept. 19 (Uncle Cyril is the headliner). Maybe I'll see you there?
Aloha, Doug
P.S. Uke instructor Tim Dang is a fellow Taropatcher, originally from Oahu, and also a good slack key guitarist. |

Doug: I did not know about the Napa Aloha Festival on Sept 19. I will try to make it to that. Are you going to the workshop too ? I see Hiram Bell is performing too. Les |

Mahalo for the kind words, Doug. You've got some fine chops yourself.
I learn from Uncle Kimo Hussey as much as everyone else, and the retreat is just good fun.

E Les, See you in Napa. I am performing at 1:50 at the Napa Valley Aloha Festival. Cyril Pahanui is the headliner. Check out website for schedule and stuff. http://www.manaleohcf.org/aloha%20festval.htm
The E Ho'omau Ukulele Workshop and Retreat sounds like a great event. I have heard only great things about it from last years participants. Have a good one... Hiram |
