Join the Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz as they host a very special Workshop and Talk Story with Bill Tapia from 4 'til 5:30. Then Uncle Bill will play from 6pm to 7pm.

Workshop is $20, cash please

Just got back from that Uke Club meeting, and it was phenomenal. Bill Tapia is so on top of everything! We heard some really fantastic ukulele playing, some fascinating stories about Bill's adventure with Louie Armstrong, and got some great aloha in with all of that! Mihana sang a couple of songs in her rich, jazzy voice.

After all of that, we got to hear Rhan Wilson, Patti Maxine, Matt Bohn and Olaf Schiappacasse blow the house apart with some wild and wooly pieces.

I am still trying to catch my breath. Probably won't sleep tonight!
