I was Google-ing today iin search of info on how to buy a high definition TV. First of all I found that I have to spell it thusly to find a lot of stuff on my query: "hi-def".
Secondly, this is one of the web sites that popped up:
http://nwfolk.com/hdtv.html
But then, just looking around the home page of that web site: http://nwfolk.com , I found a refernce to folk songs. So I went and looked at that page. But then I saw a reference to Hawaiian music and found this: http://nwfolk.com/songlists/hawaii.html
And the people are from Issaquah, WA. Richard Gillman is the papa.
Do you Seattle guys know who this is? Whoever it is must like liddo bit Hawaiian music.
Small world, yeah?

Oh, yes! Richard runs the web page for the Seattle Folklore Society (SFS) and is very active in the folk scene. Thus he knows what he's talking about when it comes to HFTV. If my memory serves me well, he's a member of SUPA (the Seattle Ukulele Performers Assn). |

Yep - he is a member of SUPA, also a DJ on KBCS (the station that presents the Hawaii Radio Connection), and often plays a little `ukulele music on his shows. He was the first to bring Bill Tapia to Seattle. A very knowledgeable and nice man. |
