Mahalo Mitch for another great Slack Key Festival (#3 and counting...)I am amazed how you do it. Will the next Slack Key Festival feature more women Kihoalu players? (i.e. the ladies of slack?) Great being back stage talking story with everybody...
Will there be a another Falsetto Festival too? hmmmm?
Once again Mitch, thanks for putting such a great show...your da best!!!!

Aloha and BIG mahalo to all who came out to the Festival!! It was PACKED! Couldn't have asked for better weather after all the rainstormin' we'd been having, a total bonus, especially for the vendors. As amazing as the event was, just remember that this is still only the third one (!) so still got some kinks to work out, yeah? But hey, the reason for the kinks is that I'm trying to improve on each year in many different ways: vendors, food, media, etc. Sponsorship is a big area I'm trying to develop and expand and I'm so grateful to all the awesome support I'd received from Hawaiian Airlines, Trader Vic's, Primo Beer, Sticky Bumps and so many more. Oh and thanks Ric, once again, for your beautiful ipus which always adds such a nice touch to the stage!!

I really appreciate all who take the time to email me or give me their feedback in person - that's what will continue to help make this event the best it can be. In the end, all I truly hope for is that everybody left feeling that they had a good time and got some real value for their money.

By the way, Halau Hula Lani Ola was the one that danced to Cyril's Hula O Makee and Kunia's AWESOME version of Ka Uluwehi O Ke Kai but they were not the ones in the Ford show - those dancers were from a different halau (if you're referring to the one Angie Baraquio emceed for the Cazimeros).

Also, anyone want to volunteer as security next time? Some Chinese guy with NO credentials whatsoever somehow found his way backstage and was upsetting all the performers and dancers

Hi Tafkam :) You are right I think. My little boy and I caught the Sunday morning show, that Hula Halau Ka Lehua Uluwehi I Ka Lani was featured in :) I really really wish I caught the Cazimeros, I heard it was da bomb. I think my advanced age caused me to get crosseyed at the Halau name and mele. I hear you laughin at me out there :D m'ahalo

Aloha Andy,
Wow, I get a CD! But how will I get this CD and from whom? If it is from you, I hope it is a CD of you singing and playing the songs you did at Fallbrook!
