3rd Annual E'Hoomau 'Ukulele and Slack Key Workshop/Retreat Kimo Hussey and Keoki Kahumoku September 3rd-5th 2010 Sonoma N. California
2010 will feature the 'Ukulele instruction of Kimo Hussey and Tim Dang, New this year we will be offering Slack Key with Keoki Kahumoku. Lei Hulu (feather lei) will be instructed by Herman Kekoa Mossman Tachera and Liko Puha will be sharing his aloha with Hawaiian culture related sessions such as Hula, Hawaiian language and Oli (chant).
The 3 day and 2 night workshop/retreat will be held at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma Valley Wine Country September 3rd - 5th 2010.

2010 Ukulele Workshop/Retreat Youth Scholarship!
Scholarship award: registration fee to the 2010 E Ho'omau Ukulele Workshop and Retreat.
Who: The scholarship is available to any youth between the ages of 18 and 24 that is currently engaged in an ukulele group or ukulele classes.
What: the ukulele workshop/retreat is an all inclusive 3 day and 2 night workshop being held at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma Valley Wine Country. The workshop scholarship includes all materials, all gourmet meals, accommodations, and all extra hawaiian cultural activities.
'Ukulele Workshop with Kimo Hussey and Tim Dang. Keoki Kahumoku will be joining us this year to teach Slack Key, he will also teach an 'Ukulele session or two

Scholarship Details: The scholarship is available to any youth between the ages of 18 and 24 that is currently engaged in an ukulele group or ukulele classes. To submit an application simply email registration @ hoomauukulele.com with your name, age, address, phone number, email address and reason why you or your nominee should be selected. All applicants will be contacted by email on August 30th and the winner will be contacted by phone.
Application Deadline: July 30th 2010.
This scholarship is made available by E Ho'omau Ukulele Workshop

A great three day workshop held at a ranch in Sonoma. My wife and I will be returning for the third time. Beautiful setting and instruction from Kimo , one of the editors of the He Mele Aloha book. The addition of Keoki this year will just add to the workshop and Aloha. |
