Ho, Auntie Wanda! I wen try da link from u, an den I wen try mele.com, got one link to Bishop Museum (Mele) Archives, wen plug in "weliweli", an wen get DA SONG! Now erryting maika'i! Da mele iz "Pelekane" (England), composed by Elizabeth Kuahaia. I downloaded da mele from huapala.org, via your link. A modern version is done by da group Pound 4 Pound, from da CD "Moloka'i Grown". Now I gotta get da chords! I pau sore da hed! Mahalo gang! Especially to you Auntie Wanda! Aloha!  |

But I very glad you found what you are looking for. Sometimes I just stumble around and the internet and you just neva know what I might find. Is like one treasure hunt.

Wow. Makaha Sons at the high school. In my high school nomo live music. And even da record player might get stole if no watch. For you youngins, that was even befo 8-track time. |
