Where you Bay Area guyz was last night? Just saw Keli'i and Chino Montero at Gordon Biersch, San Francisco for the free Aloha Fridays event. They were awesome! You have to check them out--amazing sound for just two guys (Chino’s guitar playing is sick!). Plus Keli'i's wife, former Miss Aloha Hula Healani Youn, danced some beautiful hula.

OK, you guys not totally poho. Although not well publicized, I found out from Healani that they’re going to be at the Pleasant Hill Borders Bookstore tomorrow, March 14, at 3P along with a host of others from Hawaii: http://www.borders.com/online/store/EventView?city=&state=&zipCode=&within=&all_stores=&selectedStoreId=10837&eventId=329822& (info below):

Drop me a line via da 'Patch if you're planning to come--this is my neck of the woods and I'd love to meet new Taropatchers. There's an L&L restaurant across the street if you really want to get into the Hawaii mood.

I’m pretty sure Chino will be there, cause he said he’s with Keli’i for the whole tour (Seattle in a few days). Also, the whole gang will be at Sacramento Borders (2339 Fair Oaks Blvd) today at 4:00P.

You get few 2nd chances in life, so no blame me for not giving you guys da scoop.

Aloha,
Doug

Doug really did say it all,

"You get few 2nd chances in life, so no blame me for not giving you guys da scoop."

It was one of the most enjoyable concerts I have been to. I wish I could drive up to Seattle for a "Hana Hou" on the 15th.
