For those who need to make travel plans to attend this year's festival:
The Big Island Hawaiian Music Festival will be held on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo. From noon to 6pm it'll be authentic Hawaiian music - `ukulele, slack key, steel guitar, and hula.
The lineup announced is: Cyril Pahinui, John Keawe, Kunia Galdeira, Ozzie Kotani, Ben Kaili, Brittni Paiva, Diana Aki, Ku`uipo Kumukahi, and more! Scroll down this page to see event poster:
