This performance has been several years in conception and a few years in the making. It has accumulated hundreds of hours in workshops, practice, costume and implement making. Many people have donated time, manual labor and support to this endeavor. We've endured sore muscles, lack of sleep and loss of voices...given up weekends, driven up and down the coast of Southern Cal and filled our homes and halaus to overcapacity as needed. WHY? ...because as my Kumu Hula, Auntie Clarice used to say: "Hula, IS life." ...and WE LOVE IT.
Through this journey we've forged bonds, made life long friends and strengthened our Hula Ohana (Family) here in Southern California. E Lili'u E promises to be an event of a lifetime. Don't miss it!
EO, LILI'U!
Tickets $20.00, doors open at 2:30pm
