Hey Julie,

Hope you're going to be able to make it this year. You know: my driveway is your driveway!

If you haven't checked out the website in the last day or so, you should. We've added a few new things and will get the workshop schedule posted this weekend!

Hi Elaine!

Since my hubby will be the bass player for one of your acts, does that mean I don't have to pay for parking in your driveway?

By the way, I think my sista might like this shindig, but she won't stay with us in the Moho. Will check out your website for lodging ideas...

Hugs,

Julie

Julie, who is Larry going to be playing bass for? I'd love to see and hear him!

Whoaaa Art,

You're going to make him nervous!

Robyn Kneubuhl of Hula Honeys has asked Larry to play, they'll get a chance to practice at Lark Camp and Larry has already asked his bass teacher Daniel Robbins to prep him.

He's been really practicing, enough so to make me scarce around the house....

Julie, don't know why I would make him nervous - Larry is a good bassist, and he's come so very far from when I first met him. Shoot, just the experience of playing with the likes of George Kahumoku, Jr and others, should give him the confidence that he has the ability to do the gig. I'm one of his biggest fans!

Um Art,

Larry was sadly "disinvited" because the lady has found another bassist she'd rather play with. So he won't be going to the Fest. He's up to his neck in work, so it's just as well. I will be also.

I'm sorry we'll not get a chance to see you. Kinda miss those monthly kani ka pilas we used to have...

Julie, so sorry to hear about the change in plans regarding Larry's gig. Look forward to seeing you both again soon, perhaps in Felton in the near future. Yes, several of us miss the monthly kanikapilas and open mikes. Malama...

I believe the Wine Country Uke Fest was a great success, and am heartbroken that, because of circumstances beyond (way beyond) my control, we sadly missed it.

Elaine, I knew you'd do it, as you always do it, with panache and determination, with aplomb and charm, and here's to you, my dear! (Lift Champagne glass in the air!)

Congratulations, and our hearts were with you on that weekend. Larry tired of my reminding him that "we shoulda gone!" Please send video's, vignettes, etc. to us out here in shouldabeenthereland....

Hugs, Julie
