Looking for artists' names on their album "Aloha Na 'Ohana A'o Hawai'i", from 1993; Mana Pa'i Records. David Ka'io is the only name I have, but might be 3 -4 others. Can you kokua? Also where can I buy a copy with cover and liner notes? Mahalo!

"Aloha Na `Ohana A`o Hawai`i" is a new CD from O`ahu resident David Kahiliaulani Kuhia Ka`io...just released in May by (Ken) Makuakane Music:

Additional artists on the CD are listed as Chris Keli`i`a`a, Alan Distajo, Gordon Freitas, Todd Adamski, Moani Fernandez Keli`i`a`a, Alden (Levi) Kaiokamalie, and Clyde Kaimana. Background vocals by Chris Keli`i`a`a, Da Bubster, and Daniel Kapika on "I Ke Ala Nui Kike`e`e".
David was also a member of the band Anuhea, which released a CD in 1993 entitled "Anuhea". Other members of Anuhea were Kalani Kupau and Alan Distajo.

| Mahalo nui loa, Auntie Maria!! I will be sure to get the new CD. At Radio KAPU, we have Anuhea Band's album "Kahiau 'Ia Ke Aloha" in our library. Is that the same as the "Anuhea" album? (Kala mai, I got the CD title wrong in my original note.) This CD is a real gem. The vocals are amazing! Mahalo again! |
