We'll be on island July 4 - 14 and would be very appreciative to learn where it's happening in West Maui. Mahalo!

The Wednesday night Slack Key Show in Napili is always worth going to:

http://www.slackkey.com

Of course it is loosely titled "Masters of Slack Key" because they actually do let in steel guitar players and ukulele players, etc, and they even let people like Dennis Kamakahi play Harmonica for gosh sakes! Check the schedule and see if someone you like is playing while you are on-island.

I wouldn't object if someone played the washtub bass on this show, it's just always so much fun!!!

See you there next week, Lorenzo?

OK, I'm going to reply to my own post, maybe this will assist other future visitors.

Here's a link to the local paper and the music scene: http://www.mauinews.com/page/category.detail/nav/5039/Music.html

Don't forget the free Maui Time Weekly paper. Comes out Thursday, great local listings & the best political & environmental reporting around.

Looks like the Hula Honeys are still at Kimo's on Thursdays in Lahaina. Don't miss 'em--simply the best!

Have fun.
