My dear, sweet hun-bun turns the big six-oh today! Not bad for being retired six months already.
Happy birthday my darling!

Happy birthday, ya young bugger. Now you can go out on the porch and bang on the banjo and some young folklorist will ask you about the old days...
I got to official old guy status about two months ago. Beats the alternative, don't it?
Of course, we are both older than most people on the planet--but we are still younger than Slipry1.
And doesn't that make you feel better?

Happy Birthday Unko Paul. Did you ask for a trip to Hawai'i for your birthday? Last month doesn't count. |

Thanks for all the good wishes and commiserations. It isn't so traumatic, I'm only one day older'n I was yesterday. What seemed a bit over the top was, last week, the State Of Ohio declared me Legally Old. I'm not sure how to take that. Rest assured, any errors I make in the future will be blamed on Senior Moments, as I now have admissible evidence from The State Government. Kaiulani, we're both looking forward to seeing you, and hopefully Kimo, at the workshop. We resume Hula on the 15th, and I suspect we will begin work on a new dance for the hoike. Haole Boy, it ain't so bad. Happy birthday to you, too. What day is it, exactly? Mark, one of my goals in life was to live long enough to be too old to die young. I'm on my way. But I plan to spend the weekend in a year when I was younger-1835, to be exact. Rendezvous this weekend. I expect to pick a little dulcimer, maybe some banjo as well. Hookani, I never thought to ask for that. But since Auntie wants to go back as much (or maybe even more)as I do, I don't think I need to ask. Unko Paul

Add a happy b'day from me. From my vantage point, you just one spring chicken, brah! btw, the accordion is lovely but daunting. I don't see how Thumbs does it: left hand, right hand, bellows and diatonic - Jack |

Thanks, Jack. But that accordion is chromatic, isn't it? The keyboard looks just like a piano to me. Ofcourse, I never really tried to play it.I never had an interest in it. Unko Paul |

Congrats, Paul! Age is the price of maturity. BTW, I never could get much out of a piano accordion, it's same in and out! |
