While visiting in June of 2000 I heard a really catchy song on the radio several times. I want to say i was on Oahu however, I can't be 100% sure. We also visited Molokai and Maui.

Anyways, the song lyrics were like:

"... L O V E love you ..." and
"... K I S S kiss you ..."

I have no idea if this was a local band or not. I really wish I had more information to offer. I guess I am hoping someone will recognize/recall something - based on those lyrics - magically.

I would really appreciate anything you can offer as suggestions, places to reference, etc...

Thank you, in advance!

Hi, Branden--
That's not much to go on, but possibly you're recalling "Kou Aloha Mau a Mau" written by Rev. Dennis Kamakahi.
Here's a video of Patrick Landeza performing this song; see if it's the one you remember:

Well, I don't know the song but based on your lyrics, I think the song title is L.O.V.E.

Nice song, but azz da reason Roddy Lopez Jr(Pandanus Club) wen tell Aunty Manu dat Hawaiian music stay ony on da mainland. Reggae stay jus' alternate "polka" beat (eh, Wanda, chry dance to dakine beat, it stay "Cleveland Friendly"). Oh, well. At least, local.
