Does anyone know where I can find tabulator for the following songs"
"Kokee" and "He Aloha No 'O Honolulu?"
Maybe there is no tabs for these songs but I thought I would check.

Try cpatch's list. In the Forum list, scroll down to Slack Key Instruction, and there's a link to cpatch's list. He has a list of every song that is available in lesson form from a large variety of teachers. I don't know that these 2 songs are there, but it's a starting place. At one time, Reverend Dennis Kamakahi was considering a book of his compositions, but I don't know if he decided to do one or not. Or, you could try to wing it. No mountains will crash into the sea if you play a wrong note, I play PLENNY wrong notes!

| In learning the instrument and its attendant tunings, one must experience all the notes to know where they are. Thus, while practicing, there are no "wrong" notes because one must learn the fretboard. Jus' press. |

| It's getting that combination of notes in the right that order that always presents a challenge to me. The more you press the more understanding you have of what note sequences work and which ones don't. Sometimes you get surprised and find something you never thought of. I've fooled around with Kokee in Taropatch using the standard G-C-D7 combination but it also works well with C-F-G7. Uncle Dennis makes magic with his fingers which is impossible for me to begin to replicate so I just play the song the way it sounds good to my ear. |

I hope you understand that both set of chords have the same relation, the first in the key of G and the second in the key of C - tonic, dominant and subdominant, or (easier) I IV V. If you remember the numbers, you can do the song in any key. |

The reference was meant to imply playing the tune in C as opposed to G. To my ear it sounds better in G in Taropatch but variety is the spice of life. |
