Joining the Hulaville Hawaiian Concert Series is Johnny Pal, a multi instrumentalist performing on the steel guitar, guitar, slack key, bass, ukulele, banjo, fiddle and others. Ukulele players will especially enjoy his fast fingerpicking, modern uke playing styles of Jake Shimabukuro, Troy Fernandez and Bryan Tolentino. He is a superlative singer, entertainer and humorist. He is equally at home with Hawaiian, Standards, Latin, Rock, Blues, Country and Bluegrass. Johnny detests “ego” and styles himself as a “People’s Entertainer,” who interacts with and likes to stay in touch with his audience.

In the rhythm and Blues genera, Johnny was rhythm and lead guitarist for blues greats “Bobby Day” (Rockin Robin, Little Bitty Pretty One), “Big Joe Turner” (Shake Rattle & Roll), "Smokin Joe Houston" (All Night Long); the oldies group "Little Caesar and the Romans" (Oldies but Goodies Reminds Me of You), etc. He is also lead singer for his group “Asian Persuasion” formed in 1973.

Tickets are $5.00 per person, in advance at Hulaville. Come early for ala carte dinner.
Call 949 369 1905 for more information.
