Blue grass always seems to pick me up. Even this. I see it as white soul music (seriously). |

Sorry, Bob, but it's not Bluegrass. It's trad country. H&J were Nashville staples while the GB's ccame from Texas. Corny country humor at it's best. Another great example of this is Ray Stevens' "Misty", which has an incredible pedal steel solo by J.D. Maness and very bluegrassy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ko56rc30qdk

Slipry1: Ok, Let's me ammend that to say that I like the Blue Grass sound. Besides, I rarely get anything wrong! LOL!
My experience comes from only a few favorites like R. Skaggs and A. Krause, and B. Monroe. I have CD'd from the first two.
Traditional County eh! Oh well. Thanks for the correction. |
