Oh boy oh boy oh boy - Hawaiian music close enough we can drive to it. Plus it is that sweet, kolohe Mike Keale. Can't get much better than that. And now he is a Na Hoku nominee, too!

Darryl and SueLou - you guys game?

Come Monday, I expect I shall have nice pics and maybe even some videos to post. Auntie is bringing Mike some buckeye candy because they look like kukui nuts!

Moses Kamai emcee'd a great show. Lelehuna opened the show with some great renditions of both Hawaiian and hapa-haole songs.

Here is Lelehuna:

Mike opened his set with a smooth and wonderful version of Andy Cummings' "Waikiki". Oh what a nice man. What a talent and what aloha! Auntie was in hog heaven!

And Mike called some stranger to join him in making some music. They did a rousing rendition of "Holoholo Ka`a" with the hairy guy making a pretty nice pa`ani. I reckon he had great fun!

We had an all round swell time, met some swell people and heard some fantastic music! (And we even went to the Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.
