I meant to say that the videos of Curt Silva are not "Portagee" our TP braddah from whom we have not heard for a long time. But so very exciting to know is that the Curt Silva in these two videos is in COLUMBUS, OHIO!!!!!!! Columbus is a mere two hours south of us. Mahalo Dukie for bringing us together with Curt!

Derek - that's what the video said, but I will swear on a stack of Bibles that it sounded like Al Tringali (No`eau) to me.

On accounta I don't know who is Danny Garcia.

And with his own group, Ke Kai Malino - all four of the players are TP'ers, too... No`eau, Nai`a, Baritone & me. (We're hoping to arrange someone to shoot video - if only to please Wanda; for all the fine YouTube hunting/sharing she does, she deserves more of them posted in her honor!)

thanks for posting these Wanda I think I'm in love with the Hawaiin lap steel, i've been in love with the pedal steel for decades and the Hawaiin adds another dimension, had a look at Konabob's lap steel pdf, think I'll look for a cheap guitar and see if I can find a nut extension and have something to mess around with . . . luv soaking all this up thanks again

Just remember Uncle Leonard Kwan's Gibson L4, Uncle Sonny Chillingworth's Gretsch, and Ledward's Gibson 335.

Although I must admit, when I tried slack key on my Telecaster it didn't take.
