Yes - and the room rates are about double what they were when you were last there Doug!
Markwitz/Retro - You should both know that one should never get between an Irishman and his wee Pot-O'Gold (or his Guinness)!

Yikes Lawrence, I just checked out their rates and they definitely went up. The last time I was there they had just renovated the rooms but not the grounds, and the prices were still quite reasonable. I miss the late night jams on the beach, the full moon illuminating the ocean with Molokai and Lanai clearly visible in the background, the coconut trees swaying gently in the breeze, drinking Julie and Larry's wine (oops, starting to digress) . . . . I'll be thinking of you guys in June.
Aloha, Doug |

It's definitely time to be there and get warm! What time do the festivities start on the 16th? Haven't decided yet whether to stay the extra nights at the Mauian or stay in Waihe'e and do the hour drive... |

In Hawaiian tradition, anuenue (rainbows) were a sign of the presence of ali'i. Thus, they were considered a bad omen, as one did not want to be near the chiefs. Therefore, a rainbow is a sign that one should not go in that direction.
In this case, as the rainbow appears to be in the west, perhaps it is a sign that this is a poor time to travel to Japan? |

Dusty and Gerry,
We are so sorry we'll be missing your wedding! How I've looked forward to that, on the shores of beautiful Napili Bay, no less.
Unfortunately for us, the COMPANY has set a hard deadline for our XBox project, and I've had to postpone our arrival in paradise for the next Sunday. Grumble...
But boy, am I miffed. I will never work for that company again. Your wedding is so much more important to me. We'll be thinking of you. All our aloha, we'll catch up with you at cocktail hour on Sunday. Have those Mai-Tais ready!

Oh, and Norman,
The room you see in the third photo, upstairs, is MY room! We always get that one so we can keep an eye on Dusty and Gerry on their lanai. Ha ha.
I'll ask Dusty to take a photo of us standing on the balcony when we are there. Wish you and Denise were coming too, you both would just love the place and the workshop.
