My copy of Kuana's new CD came yesterday and I listened to it last night and again this morning. It is a beautiful CD that showcases his great voice perfectly. The music is wonderful. The poetry of the songs brings comparisons to the style of songwriting used by the great Hawaiian poets of decades ago. Kuana has kept himself true to the meaning of the CD's title "Kaunaloa" meaning "To Persevere". Congratulations to all the fine talent involved in all the different aspects of this CD. Very complete liner notes with full lyrics and translations for each song adds so much to the enjoyment of this great CD. It's so great to see fine Hawaiian Music being perpetuated in such a classic way.

"The music of the Hawaiians, the most fascinating in the world, is still in my ears and
haunts me sleeping and waking."
Mark Twain
