Those of you who have figured out how to use Facebook can see a bunch of photos I uploaded to the Aloha Music Camp page. I know that there were at least 40 cameras snapping away during parts of camp, so I hope some more photos will start to appear there soon!

Aloha, is this THE Konabob? :) Of the "Jam-da-Island" fame?

I had a great time at my very first AMC, and would love to post my pictures on the Facebook page, except there doesn't seem to be an admin to let me join...

It's pretty simple. Somewhere near center top of the page is a button to send a request to join the group. Once you've done that, any member can let you in. Not sure how long it takes the request to show up, but it shouldn't take long. A friend let my wife in within a couple of hours. I had to wait a couple of days. You just have to hit the timing right, I guess, for someone to see the request. (I also found that I had to have facebook open already when I clicked the link on the AMC site.)

I look forward to seeing your pictures.

Mahalo, Ben. If anyone happens onto the AMC Facebook page, my request should be there. I've gotten rid of the the scary bison avatar, so maybe that'll help.

In the meantime, I'm finding that the version of "Kalena Kai" that Reverend Dennis taught works pretty well on the banjo. I call it "slackhammer style".

Okay, I've posted my photos from the camp, with a few pictures from the post-camp honu release at Mauna Lani.
