I have been working on classical this summer but I happened upon this video from my YouTube favorites today and it made my eys water and gave me a serious case of sadness and deep sense of loss. A lost treasure.
I have that clip on VHS tape. Sure is nice to have the easy accessibility of youtube.
I have very fond memories of visiting Uncle and Auntie on Haleakalā Ave. "You sly mongoose," Uncle Raymond used to say to me. That and, "You pākē!." LOL.
That's the video where Aunty Elodia looks at Uncle Raymond with so much love in her eyes, that I burst out crying. It was so beautiful and touched me so much. We have that on VHS also. It is very fine. Very, very fine.
