In my opinion, this book is a great follow up to Ozzie Kotani's book.  The songs are clearly written in both tab and musical notation.  For those familiar with Taro Patch tuning, there are two songs.  Then you can expand your repertoire with songs in F Wahine and C Wahine.

In the accompanying CD, Keola does an excellent job providing thorough explanations of each song section by section.  The CD also features Keola playing each song completely through.  For students who would like to sing, this book includes an arrangement of I Ka Po Me Ke Ao played in F Wahine Tuning complete with lyrics.  This book may be used by beginners, but I think it has a slight Intermediate bent to it.
