Welcome to the 'patch  Taropatch.net was born in 2002 and has grown into a leading online community dedicated to Hawaiian music.

About me, I am not a computer programmer.  I am a Senior Vice President and portfolio manager at Runnymede Capital Management, a registered investment advisor that manages money for institutions and individuals. I believe in good old-fashioned research, visiting companies to interview company managements, and investing in the best growth companies for clients.  If you or your company is in need of a Hawaiian music loving money manager, I am your guy. :-)

So what is this site about?  I founded and maintain this site to accomplish the following. 

OUR MISSION is to:

• Show appreciation for Hawaiian music and for those who make it.

• List and review resources for learning ki ho`alu.

• Provide a community where we can share music, song, and aloha in cyberspace.

With these simple goals in mind, we will do our best to show respect to the Hawaiian islands, its people and cultures, its music and musicians.  As a "live" community, you ultimately decide what this place is all about.
