Aloha International Steel Guitar Club
A STEEL GUITAR CLUB FOR HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR AND HAWAIIAN MUSIC ENTHUSIASTS.
THIS CLUB WAS STARTED IN 1974 AND WAS REORGANIZED AND RENAMED TO "ALOHA INTERNATIONAL" IN MARCH 1988.
ITS PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE HAWAIIAN STEEL GUITAR AND THE
TRADITIONAL STYLE OF PLAYING.
WE ALSO WANT TO FORM A BOND AMONG ALL THOSE WHO LOVE HAWAIIAN MUSIC AND ENJOY THE HAWAIIAN HISTORY AND CULTURE.
WE ISSUE FOUR NEWSLETTERS A YEAR AND TRY TO MAKE THEM AS
INTERESTING AS POSSIBLE TO EVERYONE.
WE ALSO HAVE AN ANNUAL CONVENTION AND TRY TO HAVE A GUEST ARTIST EACH YEAR.
OUR CONVENTION IS HELD IN THE TOWN OF WINCHESTER, INDIANA, WHICH IS THE LOCATION WHERE THE CLUB WAS FOUNDED.

Na Leo Pumehana is considered by many in the Bay Area to be one of the most talented, entertaining Hawaiian music bands in Northern California. They have performed at many large public venues like Jack London Square in Oakland for the Hawaii Visitor Bureau, Pier 39 in San Francisco, and the Priory Basilica in Hawaii. They have also played many private and public functions in California and Hawaii for the last 14 years.
